The Teacher: We take a massive, general-purpose model (the "Teacher") that understands the world.
Just like Stem Cells, DEMI's Agents are able to specialize.
The Student: We force the Teacher to compress its wisdom into your specific DEMI agent.
Step 2. The Transformation
We "anneal" (harden) this agent, compressing complex math down to a 1.58-bit structure. This creates an agent that is 3-4x faster and energy-efficient. It turns standard hardware into a supercomputer, allowing high-frequency thought with low-energy cost.
Finally, we set the Laws of Physics
These are hard constraints, e.g., "Never trade >$50k without 2FA". These are not prompts. They are the laws of physics in the agent's universe. However, we acknowledge that Laws change over time. This is why we implement private learning. As your team interacts with DEMI (approving or rejecting its suggestions), it proposes updates to its own weights.
Before the agent acts, we define the "Constitution".
